  Knowing we would be coming into town late, we called ahead to make sure someone would be there to give us a room. The owner is such a sweet lady and stayed up late to wait for us.

  The rooms aren't anything fancy, but it is like staying at your Grandmother's cozy house. It was a quiet night sleep, no hassles, and a good hot shower in the morning.

  Very friendly staff, the room was spacious and included a fridge, flat-screen TV with cable, and a decent WiFi connection. The room was clean, but rather worn and dated. Best price we could find in the area, so would stay there again.

  The room was clean and quiet but the old bag that works the office is a complete idiot. The shower in our room does not change pressure so, it shoots water all over the floor the entire time you're showering - so obviously I had to use my towel to mop it up. I politely called the office to ask for two more towels and she asked why I needed them and why my other towels are wet, asked me what have I been doing to already have used the towel? I told her I showered? Common sense. And she let out a huge grunt like she was annoyed to have to bring me a damn towel. Horrible horrible customer service. Never staying here again.

  A lot of reviews say this place is dated. The Mona Lisa is "dated" - this motel is downright old. You'd be forgiven for mistaking the exterior for the Bates Motel, but I'm fairly confident the shower here has better water pressure, or is at least safer. The bed was a bit hard, but the room was clean and the price was reasonable. Overall, the Nor-West Motel was okay, especially if all you're looking to do in Schrieber is sleep and then leave (which I'm pretty sure is the town slogan).

  Quaint, quiet, reasonably priced. Extremely clean, no dust between the carpet and the baseboards behind the furniture. Lady at the office was kind grandmotherly like. Plenty of towels, washcloths, soap. I will stay here again.
